It’s a SECRET
We’re finishing off the last remaining bugs before we launch Jibbery to the world! It’s been a long road but we all feel we have something slick to show you. Seeing as we’re almost ready to launch I can give you a few hints as to what Jibbery actually is! Hint 1: You’ll need a twitter account, Hint 2: you’ll be able to have lots of interesting conversations with people you know and people you don’t, Hint 3: It’s GREEN! Sorry folks, that’s all we’re telling you for now…keep tuned and sign-up on our launch page http://jibbery.com and be the very first to know about the launch.
And rumor has it we’ll be having a launch party in a secret location in London..Shhh!

Return of the Jedi (read jib.im)
When a group of people come together to create something, it is a wonderful thing. The enthusiasm everyone generates, combined with the barrage of ideas, from the sublime to the ridiculous, can make one feel dizzy. As a team we have been experiencing this in waves. From the beginning we knew that to build an idea into a product whilst maintaining our full time jobs we would be met with challenges on our time. These past four weeks have been our biggest test, Barbara and I have been working late into the night and during weekends getting a rebranded company website out. Andy and Joel have been pushed to the limit by their bosses, all in all we have been needed by the people who pay our bills.
Tonight however we were finally able to meet up and discuss jib.im. All looking fresh faced from relaxing weekends off, we sat down and mapped out how we’re going to get jib.im online. That enthusiasm is back and we can’t wait to get stuck back into some coding.

A new feature!
Although Barbara was snowed under at work and could not attend, Ben, Joel and I held one of our regular fortnightly meetings this evening to discuss the progress done so far and to plan out the next couple of weeks. Things are going well and although a couple of bits of work are delayed, we’re still making good progress! We’re almost ready to start building the front end of the site, leaving us just to integrate the API we’ve built ourselves. Marketing is also working well, with more signups to the launch page by the day! Most exciting of all though is a new feature we came up with, which will make the site far more useful to our users but also really help the growth of the site at the same time; those are the best kind of new features!

Development Weekend!
Ben, Andy and Joel got together last weekend to do some Xtreme coding. It’s going really well. We’re creating a backend API which will be accessible by PHP and javascript so that all the business logic is one place. We had a good days coding and ate A LOT of chicken! We forgot to take a picture but we’ll remember to next time. Barbara is on holiday and we’ll be having a team meeting when she gets back. We’ll hopefully shoot some video soon and post it on here..
We’re all still really excited about the idea and we can’t wait to share it with all of you! Sign-up to our launch list on http://jibbery.com to be one of the first to know about it!

Let the development……BEGIN!
After weeks of deciding on our new design and concept we’re finally on track to developing the first version of Jibbery. Barbara has given us a wonderful design and now it’s up to Ben, Andy and I to bring it to life in code! We’re really excited about it and can’t wait to share it with everyone. We’ll be blogging regularly on here about our trials and tribulations as we develop Jibbery and get nearer to launch.
The SouthBank Centre has been home to our meetings and here’s a little snap we took of all of us at our last meeting.. say cheese!
